A secret wedding in the heart of Aberdeen followed by a rooftop sunset photoshoot.

I knew as soon as these guys got in touch this day was going to be something a little bit different for me. Firstly the whole thing was a secret; their only witnesses were myself and the florist. Secondly, they’d arranged access to some rather unusual and dramatic locations for photos.

They day started with a first look at Malmaison followed by a Cadillac ride along Union St to their super-intimate & relaxed ceremony at the Grant Room in Marischal College.

As it was winter time was against us, but fortunately the weather was definitely on our side and we were able to make the most of the roof terraces at Marischal Square and the newly re-opened Aberdeen Art Gallery that Lisa had somehow got special permission to access to to take some amazing photos.

I met up again later with the two of them just in time for their big reveal at the Tippling House.

Here’s a few words from the happy couple about their photos:

“Oh. My. Gosh. W O W

Award worthy!! Incredibly pleased. These are amazing!! INCREDIBLE!! Thank you so much!!

I’m obsessed with these pictures. You’ve captured everything perfectly.

We laughed and cuddled for most of the day, it was perfect. Usual story – I want to do it all over again!”
